Each one, everyone is special. When Each one, everyone is special. When The initiatives of APJanmabhoomi crafted under the Special Representative of Andhra Pradesh Government to North America have been designed keeping in mind how it will affect individual lives. The aim and purpose of our Digital Class program were to bridge the gap that would facilitate a Telugu diaspora who is now successful help another individual have the means to achieve his/her ambitions too.
When you as an NRI donate to give back to the motherland for the Digital classroom Initiative, each and every mind gets access to improved learning materials and devices, we as a society will have a shot at a better future.
As a part of our program, we went back to one of the first schools to be benefited by the Digital Classrooms program. the GVMCP Shivaji Palem Government School in Vizag. After the Digital Classroom was set up, we had dispatched a team of our communication interns who were giving hands-on instructions to the faculty members on the basics of the computer learning like, Microsoft Office, using the Internet, and how to use the concept education software among other things.
Therefore, we sought to get their feedback about how they have been adapting to the initiative to know about the scale of impact we have been managing to make.
We spoke to the principal of the school Mrs. Uma Gandhi to inquire after how the initiative has affected her school. In the short talk that we had we had, we were happy to get a very positive response. We have managed to better the education facilities for all of the 170 students from the first standard to the fifth and 6 faculty members with this initiative. Since the installation of the digital classroom, each teacher has been availing one period for a digital class every day.
Being highly attracted to technology, she was happy to notice how much easier it made learning for each and every student, to the fortunate extent that those students facing an issue with traditional methods are now coming up with improved answers!
Could we be more thrilled? No! It was amazing to hear how the very purposes of our program were being met with ease, we were successful in designing a program that would make learning easier, more fun and interactive for the students. Mrs. Gandhi generously noted how our program as designed under the leadership of our honorable chief minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and the Special Representative of Andhra Pradesh Government to North America Shri. Jayaram Komati has been remarkably well executed in a short span of time benefiting students and teachers equally well.
She noted that the involvement of our communication made adapting to the technology a much smoother process, the faculty had immensely profited in learning how to manage the digital classrooms. They have also learned how to keep digital records of their planners, learning graphs and other school activities which have immensely reduced the drag of their common workload.
The greatest positive impact has most possibly been in teaching those concepts to students which are quite difficult to be explained through traditional classroom blackboard methods or models. Because digital learning involves more visuals and interactive wordplay, it has been effective in teaching those concepts with greater ease. It has increased their retention capacities and encouraged their creative thinking. Students are brainstorming better answers and adapting to concepts much faster. In the longer run, such interactive learning will better the holistic development of the students.
We have been successful in turning over GVMCP Shivaji Palem Government School! We thank Mrs. Uma Gandhi and all her faculty member for their dedicated involvement and kind feedback. We have been successful in converting 302 schools in the first phase and have received NRI funding support for almost 1000 more schools all over Andhra Pradesh.
Mrs. Uma Gandhi graciously applauded the execution of this initiative, it has been developed and implemented smoothly in a short time. Thanks to the unconditional leadership of Shri. N Chandrababu Naidu Garu, the relentless efforts of Mr Jayaram Komati, the benevolence, and support of TANA who undertook to collaborate with Govt. of Andhra Pradesh to fund this school, MCPS Shivaji Palem Government School's success story is now a significant milestone in the greater scheme of development for Andhra Pradesh's education sector.
